As a PhD candidate at the University of Twente’s Philosophy Section, my research explores how the Internet and the climate movement are influencing one another. I study their dynamics with different disciplines such as philosophy of technology and political theories, and use empirical methods such as (auto)ethnography. My goal with this project is to make better sense of how the Internet platforms and services that we use to mobilise and organise are helping or hindering the climate movement. I hope the outcome of this research can help us navigate the Internet and build it with greater purpose, awareness, and response-ability.
