research
As a PhD candidate, my research at the Philosophy Section of the University of Twente explores how the Internet and the climate movement influence one another. I use a combination of methods, ranging from philosophy of technology and political theories to (auto)ethnography. With this work, I’m trying to make sense of how the Internet platforms and services that we use to raise awareness and mobilize people end up changing our own experiences of the political landscape we are immersed in. I hope this research will yield useful insights that can help us navigate the Internet with greater purpose, awareness and response-ability.
